According to a statement from police, eight individuals have been apprehended for their involvement in the attacks on a police station and homes of MLAs in troubled Manipur.
It was reported that a 20-year-old named Chongtham Thoicha from Kiyam Mamang Leikai in the Patsoi police station area of Imphal West district, was taken into custody on Thursday for his involvement in setting fire to the properties of elected officials on November 16.
